Our Construction Trades program is designed to teach students the basics of residential construction while demonstrating how those skills can apply to a variety of high-skill, high-wage, high-demand careers within the industry. In this class students will work as a team to build a home from foundation to completion, while learning cutting-edge techniques used in both residential and commercial construction. Emphasis is placed on energy efficiency, sustainability and environmentally friendly practices. Students will earn the OSHA 10-Hour certification to ensure jobsite safety.
*Enrollment for Construction Trades LEED is recommended for returning seniors from our Habitat for Humanity home build or seniors who have not been able to dedicate two years to the construction program.
