A successful future is shaped, in part, by the ability to apply classroom knowledge to a relevant situation. By marshalling community resources, the MRMSC is able to offer students a unique opportunity to demonstrate their competence in mathematics, science and technology in a real-world setting. They also gain important skills that every employer values, such as teamwork, communications, problem-solving, decision-making and planning.

Amusement Park Physics provides an opportunity for middle school students to apply their mathematics skills and knowledge of physics principles to the real world setting of an amusement park.
