The MAISD organized and led the student outreach day of the Muskegon Shoah Remembrance Committee's annual commemoration of the Holocaust. Students and teachers from six schools worked together to understand the history and meaning of this event as it unfolded in occupied France, examining how this could have happened in a country with a history of liberty, and reflecting on how they might have responded.
